Full Restoration

Peter is speaking to the Jews in the Temple after they had healed a man who had been lame more than 40 years. In this passage he explains that they need to repent and how Jesus of Nazareth, whom they killed, is the chosen Messiah. Peter says that Jesus had to go to heaven before He comes back to complete God’s will.

     In my life there are times when I question things that happen and if that was what really was supposed to happen. I question if God really knows what he is doing in my life. But reading this passage reminds me that He always does. He, from the very beginning, planned what was to come. The prophets prophesied about the Messiah and what He was to do when He came to Earth. While Jesus was here, He fulfilled every prophecy about His First coming and He will also accomplish all that they said about His Second coming.

     God has everything planned out and sees the whole picture while we see only a small piece of the puzzle. We need to trust Him with everything because what He says will come to pass. No Doubt about It. There will be Full Restoration according to God’s ultimate plan.
