“Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.”
Jesus in this passage is talking to his followers. He is telling us that it is not just enough to listen to what he says but we must also act. We must not just know in our heads what the Bible says but know it in our hearts. As Christians, we reveal the knowledge in our hearts by living a life that reveals Jesus to others. We have the best teacher because Jesus displayed for us how we should live our life when he was here on earth. A great way to understand how Jesus wants us to live is to study His Word daily.
