Shared Birthdays

December is an important month for at least two reasons. Of course, the obvious one is that this is the month that we celebrate the birth of God’s Son, Jesus. And because God chose you to be born in the same month as His Son, we celebrate your birthday in December as well!

The Apostle Paul writes to the Christians in Rome… “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12

On this your birthday, be joyful because we have the “Blessed Hope” of seeing Jesus, the very one who was born in December, so that He could die on Good Friday to give us eternal life. Be patient in affliction, because whatever you might be going through today or tomorrow, you will not go through it alone. This Jesus you share your birth month with, said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Be faithful in prayer, don’t stop praying because you don’t know, this might be the prayer that changes everything!

So happy birthday to Jesus and to YOU!
