An Unrecognized Creator

In the beginning of the book of John, he is introducing us to Jesus and how he is the creator of the world and of us.  As a soon to be mom this makes me think about the little girl we are about to have and how I have helped to create her. This also makes me think about what if once she comes what it would be like for her not to recognize me or to completely turn away from me, rejecting me. I would be heartbroken and upset if my own child did this to me. This is exactly what we created beings, do to God when we reject him as our Lord and Savior, However, God did not give up on us; he sent his Son for us so we may have a relationship with Him. He also gives me grace and mercy which I do not deserve. This is the greatest example for me that with my daughter and all of those around me I too can give them grace and mercy, with his help.
