Is our Purpose to Escape Suffering?

When Paul penned these words, his mindset was that he knew his life was meant to live for Christ, but death would be even better because he would be in heaven and in the presence of God! I don’t think Paul was in a hurry to die; his focus was to spread the gospel. Paul’s mission was all for the Lord or Nothing at All! He was going to live his life for Christ the best he could until God calls him home. Do you find yourself wanting to escape the sufferings of this life? Do you wonder what my purpose is? God is calling you to live your life in Him to the fullest! We all know as followers of Christ that we are called to preach/ share the Gospel with everyone around us and some, to the Nations of the Earth! He is calling us to be his ambassadors, to be His hands, feet, and mouthpiece! Let’s answer that call today! Let’s be like Paul and live for Him until he calls us home!
