Family Matters

    What is your family like? Are there certain things that are unique to your family?  In my family, laughter is quite common.  My grown children have told me they enjoy watching when my siblings and I are together.  The laughter is almost non-stop.  There are usually tears and hurting sides from laughing so much.

When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we belong to another family…God’s family. Often, we hear believers referring to one another as our brother or our sister in Christ.  And for good reason; we have the same Heavenly Father. 

One of the great things about family is that we look out for each other. As believers we have a responsibility to look out for each other and to serve one another. Sometimes, we need a helping hand, sometimes we are the helping hand.  Aren’t you glad to be a part of the family of God?
