BirthdayBibleVerses.com

Scriptures set apart for you based upon your birth date.

God’s Word is an amazing, marvelous work of art. It is organized into 66 books written by 40 authors over 1500 years. There are 1189 chapters and 31173 verses. It is a wonderfully complete and symmetrical work of art written by an awesome God who loves us without end. The middle verse in all of scripture is Psalm 118:8 – “It is better to trust in the Lord than in man” He not only authored His Holy Word, but He also created each of us in His image with our own unique set of gifts and abilities. Each individual person is a wonderful and symmetrical work of art created by an awesome God who loves us without end.

Psalms 139:13-16 13 For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

God knew and chose us before creation. He knows everything about us (physical traits, gifts, talents, personality, our family) including the day of our birth. It was all preordained. A few months ago, during a troubling period in my life God opened my eyes to all of the 3:17 verses in the Bible. (I researched all chapter 3, verse 17 verses since I was born on St Patricks day) It was a blessing seeing these special verses (seemingly put there just for me) and another reminder that God fulfills His promises. We all have Birthday Bible Verses. This website is meant to be a resource so you can study/ memorize yours. Enjoy searching for your family’s birthdays, anniversaries, spiritual birthdays, or other significant dates. We trust reading God’s Word will be a blessing.

A note about our tagline: Divinely Created-Divinely Celebrated

According to God’s Word we were all created in God’s image / likeness. (Genesis 1:26-27, 5:1-2) He created us with free will because He does not want mind-numbed robots to just simply obey Him because that is how we were programmed. He wants us to choose to love & serve Him. Unfortunately, every one of us at some point has disappointed a Holy God by choosing to do wrong. The Bible calls this sin (Romans 3:23) or “missing the mark”. Picture an elite Olympic athlete who makes almost every shot versus an amateur like me who can’t make many – we both have missed the mark at least once. A Perfect Holy God has prepared heaven for only the Holy people who have never missed the mark, yet there are none who qualify for heaven. Quite a conundrum

God’s plan to restore all the imperfect, unqualified people (everyone) involves His Son, Jesus. A Holy God demands punishment for our sinful acts – if He just ignored imperfection – He would not be Holy and thus cease to be God. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect sinless life and then willfully allowed Himself to be crucified on a cross. The punishment for mine /our sins was paid by Jesus’ death on the cross. God allowed His perfect Son to bear the consequences of our sins-death. The amazing news is that Jesus didn’t stay dead – He conquered death and came back to life. He was victorious over death and paved the way for us to go to heaven. It does not mean, however, that every single person will be in heaven. We still have a choice to make – remember God does not want robots. The Bible makes it clear that each individual must choose to either accept or reject what Jesus accomplished on the cross. It’s quite simple but difficult at the same time.

First, and the sometimes the most difficult, we must recognize that we are not perfect and cannot get to heaven by anything we do. No amount of good deeds can erase the sin in our lives. The sin can only be taken away by Jesus. Secondly, we must ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and realize that He is the only one who can do it. The result is that we are ” declared” righteous and are instantly qualified to enter heaven based upon Jesus forgiving us. Now the celebration starts !!!

Luke 15:3-10 Jesus describes the joy of finding a lost animal and then money. Verse 7 – “I say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance. Verse 10 – Even so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Heaven rejoices and celebrates when we confess our sins and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross and ask His forgiveness. He does not celebrate our sinful life, but He gleefully celebrates our forgiven life.
